Itinerary
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, TIA over representative will receive you and transfer to your hotel. Wake up early according to Lukla’s flight schedule. Reach the airport 1 hour before and complete certain formalities inside the terminal. Afterward, take a flight for 25 minutes to the Tenzing-Hilary airstrip at Lukla. Breakfast at Lukla. Again, continue walking up and down by clock wise round to Mani Stone and chorten and reach Phakding. Along the trail pass the rhododendron and pine forest, capture Mountain views like Karyolung (6511 m), Nupla (5885 m), and Gongla (5813 m), etc. Wake up early according to Lukla’s flight schedule. Reach the airport 1 hour before and complete certain formalities inside the terminal. Afterward, take a flight for 25 minutes to the Tenzing-Hilary airstrip at Lukla. Breakfast at Lukla. Again, continue walking up and down by clock wise round to Mani Stone and chorten and reach Phakding. 7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Trek to Namche Bazaar, the heart of Khumbu, was built on an ancient cirque and is the Largest of all Sherpa settlements. The major attractions of Namche bazaar are the Sherpa Cultural Museum, Sagarmatha National Park Head Quarter, Entrance Chorten, and Namche Monastery.
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Acclimatization day, explore the Namche Bazaar and go hiking 300 m uphill to make your body acclimatize to the high height which enables comfort for tomorrow
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Trek to Tengboche for 5 hours from Namche. Head a little up and meet a wide trail for a few hours descend down through the pine forest for an hour and last head up to Tengboche for 2 hours. There is a Tengboche monastery which was established around 1915 AD. Inside this monastery, 60 monks are living from the age of 8-year-old beginners to 80-year-old reincarnate Rinpoche.
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Acclimatization day, go to Nagarjuna at a height 300 meters up for the adaptation of your body to high height. Explore 360-degree views of mountains. From this top of the hill, we see an outstanding view of Tabuche, Lhotse, Amadablam, Nuptse, Peak 38 (7590 m), Baruntse (7152 m), Thamserku, Island peak (6189 m), Makalu (8485 m), and Amphula (5630) etc. Even though we see identical lovely birds like Himalayan Ravan, Himalayan vulture, common Kestrel, etc.
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: A trail leads a little upwards like half an hour through a stupa and smoothly walks into grassland. After walking slowly but surely, we touch at Thukla, for the lunch break. Again we walk for more than 1 hour and finally arrived at Lobuche
6:00 am: Breakfast 7:00 am: Final day of accomplishing the Everest Base Camp. This will surely make you feel proud standing almost on the top of the world. After breakfast, start trekking to Gorak Shep for 3 hours over the wide trail from the middle of two rocky hills with a view of the Khumbu glacier and mountains. Go to base camp after lunch and backtrack for the rest of the night to sleep at Gorak Shep.
ay 10: Trek to Pheriche (4100 m, 6 hours) 7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Just trek for 3hrs to Pheriche which lies in a valley, surrounded by rocky hills and mountains. But the town is very windy and better for summer settlement. The mountains that we see from Pheriche are Amadablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Tabuche, Cholatse, and Lobuche Peak (6119 m)
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Follow a different trail up to Somare. The trail leads efficiently down and uphill by crossing Iron Bridge. But it is a descending trek. Because from 4250 m we descend to 3600 m. Stop at Tengboche for lunch. After that, over again descent to fungi Tenga Cross the suspension bridge and head a few minutes upwards by-passing rhododendron and pine forest and arrive at Kyangjuma
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Today again the trail moves gradually downwards followed by Dudh Koshi River, Mani stone, chorten, and stupa, & reaches Namche bazaar. Again, following the same trail descending highly through rhododendron and blue pine conifer trees, crossing suspension bridges, showing a national park permit, and rounding a clockwise prayer wheel, we reach Chumoa guest house for O/N.
7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: Very soon the trek is close to ending. Trek back to Lukla where the trek began
8:00 am: Wake up early according to Lukla – Kathmandu flight schedule. Reach the airport 1 hour before and complete certain formalities inside the terminal. Afterward, take a flight for 25 min utes to Tribhuvan International Airport.
Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward to your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you a wonderful journey
